When Should You Get Your Mazda Serviced? 

Having your Mazda serviced regularly is the best way to ensure a longer-lasting vehicle life. Although our dedicated and expert service technicians will know exactly how to service your Mazda, here are some general guidelines for when you should bring your vehicle to our Mazda service center.

-Every 6 months or 7,500 miles: Lubricate all locks and hinges, rotate tires, and replace the engine oil and filter. 

-Every 12 months or 15,000 miles: Perform the previously mentioned service, plus have the disc brakes inspected. 

-Perform 15,000-mile service every 24 months or 30,000 miles, as well as:

• Inspect brake lines, hoses, and connections 
• Tighten bolts and nuts on chassis and body 
• Inspect steering operation and linkages 
• Inspect fuel lines and hoses 
• Inspect drive shaft dust boots
• Inspect front and rear suspension, ball joints, and wheel bearing axial play

-30 months or 37,500 miles mark: Perform 7,500-mile service and inspect the drive belts.

-48 months or 60,000 miles point: Repeat 30,000-mile service.

-Every 75,000 miles: Replace spark plugs and audibly inspect the engine valve clearance every 75,000 miles.

Also, replace the cabin air filter every 2 years or 25,000 miles. You will also want to inspect heat shields and the exhaust system every 5 years or 45,000 miles. Lastly, make sure that the engine coolant is replaced at 10 years of life or 120,000 miles, and every 5 years or 60,000 miles afterward.
